Certain unidentified persons are taking advantage of the situation generated by the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID19) global pandemic with the intention to commit fraud. Various cases have been reported where persons acting on behalf of fictious companies or companies in liquidation were approaching foreign healthcare institutions with business offers, claiming to be in possession of a large supply of health protective equipment (mainly facial masks).

Balassi Summer University 2019
